With train journeys from 48 hours to a month, the train links some of Africa's finest destinations. From Cape Town to Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania, from scenic splendours of game reserve in Mpumalanga to the mighty Victoria Falls, from the desert landscapes in Namibia and the stark beauty of the Karoo to the lush sugar cane fields in KwaZulu Natal.
Gourmet dishes complemented by fine South African wines are served in one sitting only in the Victorian era atmosphere of the dining car. The lounges include the observation car at the tail; with deep sofas and wing back chairs for an extremely comfortable ride.

The trains are operated by Rovos Rail and offer 3 routes that last between 12 and 15 days: Pretoria to Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe); Pretoria to
Swakopmund (Namibia); Pretoria to Cape Town. The train is a bit less luxurious than Rovos Rail, but offers outstanding 4* comfort. 72 guests can choose between 2 cabin options. Two historical
dining cars set the scene for lovely meals served in one seating. Travellers can relax in the bar car, the smoking lounge or the observation car at the back of the train. a great way for slow
travel, to enjoy various landscapes and enjoy fantastic excursions. The Cape Town - Pretoria route offers optional golfing on some fantastic courses.
